books, dogs and whatnot

i’ve been taking petra the wonder wimp to this dog park melissa found for the last couple of weeks and she LOVES it! sometimes there are 15 or more dogs running crazy there – she sure loves to run. we spent about an hour and a half hanging out and i thought that she’d be real tired when we got back home – but NOPE. she was still a little feisty. later on though, she finally gave in and collapsed into a coma. it’s great watching her play. there was a little white pomeranian who petra thought was her own personal plaything. she tried picking him up by his little harness so he could go wherever she went. the woman who brought the dog, stitch is his name, didn’t seem to mind and actually thought it was funny. also funny – knowing the all the dog’s names, but not their owners.

i forgot to mention that i got my Ozomatli tickets for july. am i excited?
